Biography

Jen (b.1988) is an Ecuadorian American, NYC-based multidisciplinary artist whose work examines memory, the archive, and Latinx identity through material process. Using ceramics, installation, and organic materials, her practice explores how personal and collective histories are preserved, fragmented, and reimagined over time. Through tactile, time-based processes, she creates works that reflect on inheritance, loss, and the ways cultural and institutional archives shape identity. She will receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts from Columbia University in February 2026.
